Caitlin Deason is a Human Resources Manager for Midwest Concrete Materials, Inc. (MCM) – a regional leader in ready-mix concrete, aggregates, construction materials, and trucking and excavation services since 1927. She held various roles at MCM, and with her current position on the human resources team Caitlin strives to create and maintain an inclusive, family culture at MCM. Caitlin is especially proud that MCM received the 2022 Business of the Year from the Kansas Business and Professional Women organization.

 

Caitlin brings seven years of experience as a teacher, coach, and in administration, three years of experience in human resources, and a lifetime in the family business. Her experience gives her a unique perspective to bridge the gap between the construction industry and education.

 

In her free time, Caitlin can usually be found with her husband and two children adventuring around Kansas City, spending time at Council Grove City Lake, and traveling to warm destinations in the winter. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and a master’s degree from Baker University.
