Stan Hambright has been serving Bayer Construction Co., Inc. since 1995, as Human Resource/Safety Manager and as a Corporate Officer in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer.  Bayer Construction Co., Inc. was founded in 1935 by Henry Bayer, primarily as an aggregate producer for road construction and now operates with a workforce of over 170 employees.  Bayer has expanded its operation to include civil site preparation, heavy highway and utility construction, paving and asphalt operations in the greater Manhattan and Ft. Riley areas.  Bayer has been an employee-owned company since 1993. 

 

In 1998 Stan received a Professional Human Resource accreditation (PHR) from Kansas’ Washburn University.  Stan was a member of the Manhattan Leadership Class of 2005 and the Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program Class of 2009 and 2010. In addition, he served as the Chairman of the Manhattan Workforce Development Committee from 2008 to 2009.  

 

Stan has served as Past Chairman for the following groups: the Junction City, Kansas Chamber of Commerce, the HR Committee to the Kansas Contractors Association, the Junction City/Geary County Economic Development Board, and the Kansas Aggregate Producers Association Safety Committee.

 

Stan and his wife Lori have been married for 36 years.  They have two children, Audrey and Wade.  Stan loves the outdoors and spending time with his family.
